Teaching

My teaching style isn’t typical. I use visuals–fun things like dolls, jewelry, and a stash of candy. Learning is a lot more fun when you can laugh–especially at yourself, so I love sharing a few of my rejected stories.

I began discovering writing secrets at age ten. My mother drafted me to be her junior editor. After turning 40, I did something I never thought I’d do. I started writing myself. Breaking free of caring what people think led to my first publication. Kind, honest critiques are worth gold.
